Your privacy matters.

You can use Knesiya as a guest, which creates an account tied to your device without requiring an email or password. If you later create a permanent account, we collect only the information required for that sign up method. We also store the name, denomination, and church communities you choose to join.

With your permission, we use your approximate location to show nearby churches. You can deny this permission or disable it at any time from your device settings. We do not continuously track your location or store your location history.

If enabled, we store a device push token so churches you follow can send announcements and reminders. You can disable notifications for individual churches or all notifications at any time.

When you check in to a church service using a QR code, we record the date and time of your attendance. When registering for events, we store the information you provide for that registration.

We use Sentry to monitor crashes and improve app stability. Diagnostic information may include your IP address, device information, a non-identifiable account reference, and technical details about the error. If you submit feedback through the app, your message and related diagnostics are also sent to Sentry.

Knesiya displays M-Pesa Paybill and Till numbers provided by churches. All payments are completed directly through your mobile money provider. Knesiya does not process, store, or have access to your payment information.
